Robert Joseph "Joe" Betterton

Mr. Robert Joseph “Joe” Betterton., 39, of 515 Norris St., Jonesville, SC, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his home.

Mr. Betterton was born November 4, 1986, in Portsmouth, VA a son of Teresa Satterwhite Betterton and the late Robert Curtis Betterton., He finished his high school education in Texas, before moving with his family to Union, SC. Mr. Betterton worked in maintenance with Walmart of Union. He was an avid gamer and a knife collector.

In addition to his mother, Teresa, Mr. Betterton is survived by sons, Robert Damien Betterton, Lucien Mathias Betterton and Joseph Poe Betterton, a brother, Clinton Betterton and the mother of the sons, Samantha Smith. He was predeceased by a sister, Shandra Renee Lutrell.
