Mr. Robert Eugene "Bobby" Hyatt, Sr., age 73, husband of Becky Gibson Hyatt of 128 Duncan Ave., Buffalo, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at his home.
Mr. Hyatt was born in Union, May 10, 1949, a son of the late George Wallace Hyatt, Sr. and Virginia O'Shields Hyatt. He was a graduate of Spartanburg Technical College and retired from Duke Energy. Mr. Hyatt was a veteran of the US Army having served in the 197th Infantry Brigade during the Vietnam War. He was a faithful member of Buffalo Baptist Church where he served on various committees including the Amazing Grace Ministries and was a Deacon Emeritus. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #87.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Robert E. "Bob" Hyatt, Jr. and wife Amy of Easley, Thad Hyatt of Union and Matthew Hyatt of Buffalo; a brother, David Hyatt of Augusta, GA; and four grandchildren, Olivia, Ava, Nolen, and Emma Hyatt. He was predeceased by two brothers, George Wallace Hyatt, Jr. and William "Billy" Hyatt, and a sister, Debra Hyatt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM FRIDAY, JANUARY 20, 2023 at Buffalo Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Doug Estes. Visitation will be FRIDAY from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the services. Burial with Military Honors will be at Union Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be Doug Johnson, Bruce Betenbaugh, Stanley Rice, Kent Smith, Gary Griffin and Randy Woods.
Mr. Conrad Alan along with past and present Deacon and members of the Amazing Grace Ministries and the Food Ministry are asked to sit in a group.

The family will be at the home, 128 Duncan Ave., Buffalo.
