Robert Allen Colson

Mr. Robert Allen Colson, age 54, of 208 Cambridge Dr., Union, passed away, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Colson was born November 11, 1970, in Union, a son of the late Fred W. Colson and Vivian Franklin Colson. He was a 1988 graduate of Union High School and received an Associate of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Colson was a retired dispatcher from Union County 911 and a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church. While a student at UHS, he fell in love with theater in Mr. Ralph Lawson's Drama classes. Mr. Colson enjoyed all aspects of theater including acting, staging and writing.

Surviving are a sister, Rebekah Hanna and her husband, Alex, of Virginia and a brother, Jason M. Colson and his wife, Heather, of Union. Mr. Colson is also survived by nieces, Ashley and Aurora and nephews, Jacob, Harrison and Rowan; aunts, Lora Franklin, Ann Hawkins, Johnnie Sherbert, Faye Colson and several cousins.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the S.R. Holcombe Chapel at 2:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. The family will receive friends following the services at the Chapel.
