Robert David Eaves

Mr. Robert David Eaves, age 74, widower of Harriet Hutcherson Eaves, of 221 Burgess Road, Jonesville, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026.

Mr. Eaves was born March 8, 1952, in Union, SC, the son of the late Lee Eaves and Sarah Gregory Eaves. He was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Tech. David was a member of Oakbrook Baptist Church. He had retired from Union County as a jailer and was then able to pursue his favorite hobby of fishing. David loved spending time with his fishing friends and was an avid supporter of youth fishing through the Union County Youth Bass Anglers and the USC Union Anglers. As a lover of outdoors and sports, he had spent time as a softball umpire and was a USC Gamecocks fan.

Surviving are a niece, Amy Sanders and her husband, Chris of Jonesville and great nieces, Tessa Garner, Maisie Garner, and Willa Garner. David also leaves behind his special friend, Cameron Coone. David had two dogs, Dixie and Roscoe.
