Robert Fred Faucett

Mr. Robert Fred Faucett, Sr., age 88, husband of Doris Blackwell Faucett, of 115 Park Dr., Jonesville, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Faucett was born August 25, 1934, in Pea Ridge, a son of the late Norman Faucett and Estelle Goings Faucett.  He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and retired after 42 years from Cone Mill as a Head of the Packing and Inspection Department.  Mr. Faucett was a Veteran of the United States Army.  He was a member of Jonesville Baptist Church where he had formerly served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 64 years are a daughter, Sandy Morris and husband Jamie of Jonesville; a son, Robert F. "Robbie" Faucett, Jr. and wife Ann of Spartanburg; four grandchildren, Mitchell Morris and wife Taylor, Madison Grace Faucett, Sara Caroline Faucett, and Adams Robert Faucett; great-granddaughter, Emerson Caroline Morris; a special sister-in-law, Betty Gault of Roebuck; and a special nephew, Jim Gault and wife Laura and their children, Bryson and Bowen all of Roebuck.  He was predeceased by three sisters, Evelyn Garner, Shirley Sanders, and Margie Robinson; three brothers, William "Billy" Faucett, James "Jimmy" Faucett, and Lynn Faucett; and a special brother-in-law, Jimmy Gault.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Jonesville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Scott Cannon and Rev. Randy Smith.

Visitation will be immediately following the services at the cemetery.

The family would like to thank Mr. Faucett's caregivers, Elaine Ellison, Beverly House, Karen Washburn, Kelly Horne, and Marian Belue and Traditions Hospice for their love and care of Mr. Faucett during his illness.
