Robert Kenneth Howell

May 29, 2017 Mr. Robert Kenneth Howell, age 74 of 607 Gaffney Hwy, Jonesville, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017 at his home. Mr. Howell was born in Union, SC March 2, 1943, a son of the late Robert Lee Howell and Margaret Garner Howell. He retired from Bilo-Hillcrest Spartanburg and had previously worked at Harris Teeter and Community Cash Stores in Spartanburg. Mr. Howell was often seen visiting at Kelly One Stop. Surviving are a son, Robert David "Robbie" Howell and wife Paula of Duncan; a daughter, Carla Patrick of Clover; two sisters: Carolyn Horne of Jonesville and Jackie Duncan of Pacolet; a brother, Harold Dean Howell of Jonesville; four grandchildren: Anna Howell, Brooklyn Howell, Rebecca Howell and Alana Fowler; a great-grandchild, Angela Howell and special friends, Jolly, Randy and Richard. Mr. Howell was predeceased by a son, Jim Fowler and a sister, Linda Reid. A Memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel. Visitation will be held 1:30-3:00 PM in the chapel prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, SC Chapter, 4124 Clemson Blvd, Suite L, Anderson, SC 29621. The family is at the home of his sister, Carolyn Horne, 420 C Street, Jonesville, SC 29353.
