Robert Newell Lindler

Mr. Robert Newell Lindler, age 63 of 2822 Whitmire Hwy., Union, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Lindler was born in North Kingston, RI, August 18, 1958, a son of JoAnn Tingle Lindler and the late Robert C. Lindler. He was a graduate of Union High School and Spartanburg Technical College and attended the University of Tennessee. Robert retired from the construction industry having traveled and work all over the United States.

Surviving in addition to his mother are a brother, Dennis Lindler of the home; a "special daughter" Cassie Swygert of Columbia and her daughter, Aura Swygert; and several nieces and nephews including two special great-nephews Wyatt and Gabriel Lindler.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held immediately following the service in the chapel.

The family will be at the home, 2822 Whitmire Hwy., Union.
