Robert Wayne Sinclair, Sr.

May 11, 2015 Mr. Robert Wayne "Rat" Sinclair, Sr., age 67, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Spartanburg Hospital for Restorative Care. Mr. Sinclair was a resident of Heartland of Union. Born in Union, November 12, 1947, he was the son of the late Will L. Sinclair and Iris Lancaster Sinclair. Mr. Sinclair was a self-employed roofer. Surviving are a daughter Amy S. Gibson and husband Robert; four sons, Wayne Sinclair, Mitch Sinclair and wife Donna, Jeffrey Sinclair and Patrick Sinclair all of Union; eight grandchildren, Tyler Gibson, Blakelee Reid, Josh Sinclair, Kayla Sinclair, Gabriel Sinclair, Lauren Outz, Paige Deaton, and Dylan Millwood; and four great grandchildren. Mr. Sinclair was predeceased by a brother, Jackie Lancaster. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Robert Scott. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of his daughter, Amy and Robert Gibson, 142 Lake Run Rd., Union.
