Robert Kenneth Teague, Sr.

August 8, 2016 Mr. Robert Kenneth "Ken" Teague, Sr., age 79 of 222 S Boyce Street, Apt 6, Union, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. Mr. Teague was born in Union, August 2, 1937, a son of the late Newland Teague and Emma Willard Teague. He was owner-operator of "Ken's Coins" and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Mr. Teague was a former member of the S.C. National Guard. Surviving are a daughter, Monica Teague Haney and husband Mike; a son, Robert Kenneth "Kenny" Teague and wife Kathy all of Union; two sisters: Nora Ingle, wife of the late Buck Ingle of Union and Nancy Cagle, wife of the late Leamon Cagle of Simpsonville; a brother, Joe Stanley "Jack" Teague and wife Jackie of Mauldin; grandchildren: Melissa Womick, Stefanie Blanton and husband Dustin, Ashley Weber and husband Mark and Paul Teague and fiancée Brooke; and great-grandchildren: Maddox, Braeden, Jace, Jason, Daniel, Kenny Jayda and Lily and a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Teague was predeceased by two brothers, Curtis Teague and wife Shirley and David Lee Teague. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Shannon Faulkner. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Paul Teague, Ricky Ingle, Ronnie Ingle, Mark Weber, Dustin Blanton and Bradley Ingle. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Medi-Home Hospice, 720 S Duncan ByPass, Suite C, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
