Robert Eric Wade

Mr. Robert Eric Wade, age 48, husband of Carla Brannon Wade of 107 Sprouse St., Union, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at his home. Eric was born July 21, 1969 in Union, SC a son of Ronnie Wade and Vicki Ivey Wade Nalls. He was a graduate of Union High School and attended Spartanburg Community College. Eric had previously been employed with Sonoco Products and Sterilite Corporation. He was a member of Philippi Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his step-mother, Genia Wade of Union; two daughters, Jessica Wade and Christina Davis; a sister, Khristy Wade of Union; a brother, Chip Wade of Columbia; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Wade of Union; and his best friend, Brad Watson. He was predeceased by his son, Taylor Wade. Private memorial services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2017 at S.R Holcombe Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Brad Goodale. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Philippi Baptist Church, Debt Retirement Fund, 327 Philippi Church Rd., Union, SC 29379 or a Charity of One's Choice. The family is at the home of his mother, Vicki Nalls, 103 Birchwood Dr., Union, SC 29379.
