Mr. Rodney Thomas Horne, age 55, husband of Julie Q. Horne, of 129 Hames Ave., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Horne was born November 13, 1969, in Union, a son of the late Victor Eugene Horne, Sr. and Elizabeth Knox Horne.  He was a graduate of Jonesville High School.  Mr. Horne was employed with Wofford College and had previously worked at the Kohler Company for 33 years as a Foreman.  He was the former coach of the Jonesville Girls Softball team and had previously coached the Dixie Youth Boys Baseball Team.  Mr. Horne was of the Baptist Faith.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 36 years are, two daughters, Jodie Chapman and husband Alex of Pacolet and Cassie Horne of the Home; a son, Trinity Horne and wife Bonita of the home; a sister, Kimberly H. Roark and husband Tommy "Squeaky" Roark of Jonesville; nine grandchildren, Zayden Horne, Easton Horne, Kali Chapman, Aria Chapman, Robert Hall, Jonathan Hall, Joshua Hall, Zack Hall, and Zoey Hall; a niece, Jada Lipsey; three nephews, Josh Lipsey, Derrek Eaves, and Ethan Horne; and his beloved dog, Jordi Horne.  He was predeceased by a sister, Wendy Eaves and a brother, Victor Eugene Horne, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Oakbrook Community Church conducted by the Rev. Randy Burgess.  Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens.

Former Kohler Company Employees are asked to sit in a group.

Mr. Horne will be at the home, 129 Hames Ave., Jonesville, after 4:00 PM Thursday, May 8, 2025, where he will remain until 12:30 PM Saturday, May 10, 2025.
