Roger Dale Ford

May 13, 2017 Mr. Roger Dale Ford, age 62, husband of Donna Harris Ford of 259 Kelly Rd., Union, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Ford was born in Union, January 9, 1955 a son of the late Robert E. Ford, Sr. and Frances Reynolds Ford. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and received an Associate Degree in Forestry from Horry Georgetown Technical College. Mr. Ford was retired from McFarland Cascade, formerly known as United Lumber. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Katheryn Frances Ford of Port St. Lucie, FL and Anna Rose Sawyer of Union; two sons, Joshua K. Ford and wife Michelle of Inman and Joseph Matthew Sawyer of Union; a sister, Kate Ford Huggins and husband Ronnie of Union; a brother, Bobby Ford and wife Shirley of Boiling Springs; and three grandchildren, Lora Ford, Lexie Ford, and Irving Ford. Mr. Ford was predeceased by two grandchildren, Evan and Lana Ford, two brothers, John Craig Ford and Donald Eugene Ford and his in-laws, Joseph and Sarah Harris. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2017 at Oakbrook Community Church conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Visitation will be held from 3:30 until 5:00 PM at the church Monday prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Oakbrook Community Church, P.O. Box 538, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family will be at their respective homes.
