Roger Dale Robinson

Mr. Roger “Pee Wee” Dale Robinson, age 73, husband of Shirley Sinclair Robinson of 112 Sinclair Rd., Union, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Robinson was born April 14, 1953, in Union, the son of the late Eddie F. Robinson and Kathlene Richardson Robinson. He was a graduate of Lockhart High School and a member of Philippi Batist Church. Mr. Robinson retired from the Industrial Construction industry where he had worked in management with various companies over his career. He loved to hunt and fish and was a Braves baseball fan. Mr. Robinson had coached Little League baseball also.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, Shirley, he is survived by sons, Mark Robinson, Matt Robinson and Robbie Sumner all of Union. He is also survived by a brother, Eddie D Robinson and his wife, Jenny, two sisters, Pam Sinclair and Barbara J Childers and her husband Bo, 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a favorite uncle, Olin Robinson and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Robinson was predeceased by a brother, Henry “Tony” Richardson, 2 granddaughters, Skylar Robinson and Marley Sumner, his mother-in-law, Dorothy “Dot” Sinclair and his father-in-law, Earl Sinclair.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale and Rev. Robert Scott. Burial will follow the services at Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Terry Sanford, Jeff Sinclair, Hunter Robinson, Luke Sumner, Bryson Alexander, Cody Alexander, Findley Robinson and Jake Sumner.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel prior to the funeral services.

The family is at the home of his sister, Pam Sinclair, 207 Philippi Church Rd., Union, SC.
