Ronald Eugene Gault, Sr.

Mr. Ronald Eugene Gault, Sr., age 74, of 146 E. Forest Dr., Union, widower of Betty Jo Fowler Gault, passed away Tuesday, December 15 at his home.

Mr. Gault was born in Union, September 6, 1946, a son of the late Gay Rhymer and Virginia Gault Rhymer. He was retired from Milliken and Co., Monarch Plant and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Mr. Gault was a former member of the S.C. National Guard having served for six years.

Surviving are a son, Ronald E. Gault, Jr., and wife Peggy of the home. He was predeceased by an aunt and uncle, Rachel and Jule Culbreth.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 18, 2020 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery conducted by Rev. Randy Smith and Rev. Brian Redding.

Active pallbearers will be Steve Davis, Randy Lee, Jason Sweezy, Terry "Red" Green, Gary Griffin, and Shane Parks.

The following are asked to serve as the honorary escort Rick Nielson, Gene Smith and Ricky Sweezy.

The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the staff and nurses of Crescent Hospice for their care of Mr. Gault during his illness.

The family will receive friends at the graveside following the services.
