Ronald O. "Ronnie" Belue

Mr. Ronald O. "Ronnie" Belue, age 74, of 220 Bobo St., (Monarch community), Union, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Belue was born in Union, January 3, 1948, a son of the late Henry H. Belue and Elizabeth "Lib" Blakley Belue. He was a 1968 graduate of Union High School and attended Gardner Webb University where he played college football. He loved football and the Clemson Tigers. Ronnie loved weightlifting and worked out daily as long as his health would allow. He battled lung and colon cancer for 14 years and proved his doctors wrong many times. He put his life in the hands of his Lord and Savior. Ronnie was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church.

Surviving is an uncle, Harvey Belue and wife of Union; cousins, Maurice Bevis, Mark Belue, Cindy Finney Lowell Belue, Jerry Belue and their families; and many special friends and helpers, including Roger Wade and Bill Mabry. He was predeceased by a son, Jeff David Ingle and a cousin, Vivian Moody.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Private burial will be at Fairforest Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Sunday at the chapel prior to the services.

The family will be at their respective homes.
