Ronnie E. Lipsey, Jr.

July 24, 2016 Mr. Ronnie Edward Lipsey, Jr., age 47 of 328 Spencer Rd., Jonesville, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016. Mr. Lipsey was born in Union, July 25, 1968, a son of Diane Fowler Taus and husband Victor of Union and the late Ronnie E. Lipsey, Sr. He was a self-employed carpenter and attended Oakbrook Community Church. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Eric S. Taus and wife Rebecca and their daughter Savannah all of Greer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Lipsey was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Argil and Boogie Sumner and his paternal grandparents, Mae Pearl and Willie Lipsey. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Monday, July 25, 2016 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Randy Burgess. Active pallbearers will be Trey Harris, Michael Harris, Bo O'Dell, George Carpenter, Greg Sanford, Kevin Fowler and Judson Lawson. Visitation will be held from 2:30 until 4:00 Monday at the funeral home prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Oakbrook Community Church, P.O. Box 538, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family will be at the home of his parents, 111 College St., Union.
