Ronnie Dean Thomason

Mr. Ronnie Dean "RuRu" Thomason, age 66, husband of Caroline Queen Thomason, of 116 South 1st Street, Lockhart, passed away, Sunday, November 10, 2024 at his home.

Mr. Thomason was born August 1, 1958 in Chester, a son of the late Wallace McKenley Thomason and Lib Hutto Thomason.  He retired from the Timken Company.  Mr. Thomason was a member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church where he had previously served as the Youth Leader.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Jada Thomason and Chase Thomason of the home; four brothers, Wallace Thomason, Roger Thomason of Lockhart, Charles Thomason and wife Marshall of Chester, and Roy Thomason and wife Linda of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Keeli Parker, Dillon Williams, Christian Thomason, Gabe Thomason, and Brianna Thomason.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Carrie Faucette; two sisters, Margaret Ann Thomason and Brenda Thomason; a brother, Russell Thomason; and a special friend, John McCarley.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Sam Baine.  Burial will follow at Lockhart Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Caleb Thomas, Stan Eaves, Rusty Thomason, George Queen, Justin Larson, and Tommy Eaves.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
