Mrs. Rosa Adean Bryant Dillard, age 87, of 181 Turner St., Pacolet, widow of Loyd James Dillard, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Dillard was born in Ludville, GA, December 14, 1931, a daughter of the late Vance Buren Bryant and Lora Matthews Bryant. She was a graduate of Pacolet High School and retired from Carolina Cash in Spartanburg. Mrs. Dillard was a member of Pacolet United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Lee of Pacolet and Billie Campbell and husband Dale of the home; one brother, Hugh Jay Bryant of Dalzell, SC; four grandsons, Jimmy Lee, Reggie Ellison, Stevie Ellison and wife Jamie and Clayton Campbell and wife Caitlin; four great-granddaughters, Bailey Ellison, Hannah Hyder, Jada Lee and Caydin Campbell; two great-grandsons, Holden Ellison and wife Brissa; one great-great-grandson, Kyzer Lee and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dillard was predeceased by a daughter, Terri Renee Dillard, a son, Stephen Loyd Dillard and three brothers, T.N. Bryant, William Z.T. Bryant and Jack Dempsey Bryant. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Pacolet United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Dennis Tessnier. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dillard's grandson and great-grandsons will serve as the active pallbearers. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Saturday at the church prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Pacolet United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 110 Glenn Springs Rd., Pacolet, SC 29372.
