Rose Mary O’Shields

August 28, 2015 Mrs. Rose Mary O'Shields, age 62 of 203 C Street, Jonesville, SC 29353, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at her home. Mrs. O'Shields was born in Union, SC June 6, 1953 a daughter of the late Oscar Bogan and Betty Lou Clark Bogan. She attended Jonesville High School and Jonesville Church of God. Surviving are a son, Michael Ivey of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Janet Bogan of the home and Pam Vinson and husband Tim of Lexington, SC; two grandchildren, Jessie and Zach; a nephew Scott Bogan and wife Chelsea of Pelzer; a niece Crystal Bogan of Pelzer; a sister-in-law Donna Powell of Pelzer; a special pet dog, Angel; and a number of aunts, uncles, and friends. She is predeceased by a brother Timothy Scott Bogan, Sr. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Spartanburg Regional Hospice and Beth Broom for their love and care of Mrs. O'Shields. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel conducted by the Rev. Roger Byrd. Burial will follow at Jonesville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Dion Johnson, Chase Brown, Michael Ivey, Wayne O'Shields, Scott Bogan, and Allen Fleming. The following are asked to form the honorary escort, Jeff O'Dell and Austin O'Shields. Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday Evening at Holcombe's Jonesville Chapel.
