Rosamarie Marker Shipley

Mrs. Rosamarie Marker Shipley, age 75, wife of Richard Shipley, of 302 Buffalo West Springs Highway, Union, passed away, Saturday, November 29, 2025 at her home.

Mrs. Shipley was born in Aston, Pennsylvania on December 15, 1949, daughter of the late James Achuff and Mary Taylor Achuff. She worked as a school bus driver. Mrs. Shipley was a member of Emma Gray United Methodist Church of Woodruff.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 29 years are three daughters, Rosamarie Sitton of Woodruff, Dawn Miller of the home, Cathy Ann Toussaint and husband Morris of Fayetteville, NC; a son, Daniel Chambers of Buffalo, SC; two brothers, Ludwig Achuff and wife Carole of Delaware and William Achuff of Delaware; three sisters Pearl Steele and husband Ace of Delaware, Janet Johnson of Delaware and Evva Hoyt of Mt. Vieni, Missouri; grandchildren, James Chambers, Heather Rogge, Brian Dunphy, Christina Adkins, Dylan Chambers, Torri Miller, Jeanette Chizmar and husband Xavier, Ceairra Miller; seven great-grandchildren; and her fur babies, Xena and Bella. Mrs. Shipley was predeceased by her son, David Chambers, Jr., a sister, Mary Marker and two brothers, George Achuff and James Achuff.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
