Rosie Fowler Winzenried

March 13, 2017 Mrs. Rosie Fowler Winzenried, age 64 of 121 Barnado Rd., Apt. 16, Union, widow of Gary Winzenried, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Winzenried was born in Union, SC July 12, 1952, a daughter of the late Lewis Fowler and Eva Mae Fowler Ray. She was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Mrs. Winzenried was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Surviving are two daughters: Monica Garner and Kayce Bates (Paul) all of Union; a son, Joey Winzenried (Summer); a son-in-law, Wilson Bates, Jr of Union; eight grandchildren: Kayson Bates, Kayleigh Bates, Britt Garner, Ashley Winzenried, Jospeh Ridings, Haley Casstevens, Hannah Upton and Joshua Upton; five great-grandchildren: Adrian Winzenried, Aiden Ridings, Harmonee Sky Garner, Mason Colbert and Skylar Casstevens; two brothers: Bobby Fowler (Joyce) and Dennis Fowler (Cheryl); three sisters: Kathy Martin, Doris Rogers(Mitch) and Sara Garrett (Bryant); two aunts: Mary Price and Carolyn Patrick and a host of family and friends. Mrs Winzsenried was predeceased by a son, Gary Winzenried, Jr. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mark Truitt and Rev. Randy Smith. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Timothy Fowler, Preston Thomas, Donnie Vinson, Mitch Rogers, Britt Garner and Joseph Ridings. Mrs. Winzenried will be carried to her home, 121 Barnado Rd., Apt 16, Union, where the family will receive friends Tuesday evening and Wednesday.
