Roxie Yvonne “Sister” Garner Rash

Mrs. Roxie Yvonne "Sister" Garner Rash, age 82, of 369 Mt. Tabor Church Rd., Union, widow of Paul Rash, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Rash was born February 26, 1938 in Union, a daughter of the late Aubrey "Bud" Garner and Roxie Harris Garner. She was a graduate of Lockhart High School and retired from Conso Products. Mrs. Rash was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member and treasurer of the Senior Citizens Group. Surviving are a niece Lora Ann Garner of Union; two nephews, Carroll Dean Garner, Jr. and Les Garner both of Union; her best friend, Kay Revels of Union; a sister-in-law, Annette P. Garner of Union; and two great-nieces, Farrah and Aubrey Garner. She was predeceased by her brother, Carroll Dean Garner, Sr. Due to the current health crisis a graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Richard Lewis and Rev. Merritt Wentz. Memorials may be made to Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, 373 Wesley Chapel Rd., Union, SC 29379. The family is at their respective homes.
