Roy Rion Revis

Mr. Roy Rion Revis, age 55, of 719 Kelly Rd., Union, went home Saturday, April 12, 2014 to be with his beloved wife Joan Alveres Revis. Mr. Revis was born in Union, October 31, 1958, a son of the late Charles E. Revis and Linda Hall Revis Simmons. He was a graduate of Union High School and was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Revis was a wonderful step-father to Matthew Manibusan of Union and Jolynn Manibusan Chitwood of Spartanburg and his grandchildren, Eden Chitwood, Novah Manibusan and Matt Yarbrough. He was a loving brother to Brenda Revis Pauley and her husband Mark also of Union. Roy was very active and loved very much by his niece Lori Pauley McLain and her children, Callie and Daven. Roy had two nephews who looked up to him, Mark Pauley, Jr., and his son Conner, Eric Pauley and his son Nolan and a special niece, April Fleming Betenbaugh and special nephew, Christopher Spencer. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Scott Cobb. Burial will be in Jonesville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of his sister, Brenda and Mark Pauley, 803 Meansville Rd., Union.
