Ruby Lucille Owens Johnson

July 3, 2014 Ruby Lucille Owens Johnson, age 83, of 2307 Buffalo-West Springs Highway, Buffalo, widow of Robert Luther Johnson, passed away, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Palmetto Health Baptist - Parkridge Medical Center. Mrs. Johnson was born in Union, SC on October 5, 1930 a daughter of the late Boyce Bobo Owens and Addie Pruitt Owens. She was formerly employed with Buffalo Mills and the Navy Exchange in Charleston. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Robbin Pagan and husband Chuck of Lexington; a son, Ricky Johnson and wife Debbie of the home; three grandchildren, Charles Pagan, Keri Pagan, and Raquel Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Aaden Martin and Thomas Frye. She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold Owens, Gene Owens, and Curtis Owens; and two sisters, Bernice O'Shields and Ruth Owens. Graveside Services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Lynn Ford. Visitation will be held 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. The family is at their respective homes.
