Ruth Grant Garner

June 26, 2019 Mrs. Ruth Grant Garner, age 72, wife of Terry M. Garner of 207 Ridgeview Dr, Jonesville, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 25, 2019. Mrs. Garner was born in Union, September 10, 1946, a daughter of the late Joseph "Joe" Grant, Jr., and Rosa Lee Smith Grant. She retired from Torrington Co. and was a member of Mt. Joy Baptist Church. Mrs. Garner was a Sunday School teacher, Choir member, Vacation Bible School teacher and had also taught Children's Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Amanda G. Martin and husband Chris of Union. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert L. Grant. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Mt. Joy Baptist Church conducted by Chaplain Dustin Miller. The family will receive friends in the church from 1:00 until 2:00PM Thursday prior to the services. Memorials may be made to Mt. Joy Baptist Church, 657 Pea Ridge Hwy., Jonesville, SC 29353. The family will be at the home, 207 Ridgeview Dr., Jonesville.
