Sally V. Horne

Mrs. Sally Vanderford Horne, age 91 of 303 South 5th St., Lockhart, widow of Aubrey Horne, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024 at White Oak at North Grove in Spartanburg.

Mrs. Horne was born in Lockhart, July 20, 1932, a daughter of the late Ben and Ruth Cudd Vanderford. She had retired from Conso Products and was member of Lockhart Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Dennis Horne and wife Deborah of Lockhart; a sister, Myrtis Young of Lockhart and a brother, Dean "Sam" Vanderford of Michigan. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Chris Hopper and Shalyn Horne; three great grandchildren, Aubrey, Nathan and Sophia, and three great great grandchildren, Adalynn, Everleigh and Grayson. She was predeceased by three sisters, Nancy Black, Martha Robinson and Mary Ruth Vanderford and three brothers, Jack Vanderford, James "Bud" Vanderford and Ben Dewey Vanderford.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 19, 2024 at Lockhart Cemetery conducted by Rev. Sam Baine.

The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.

The family will be at the home, 303 South 5th St., Lockhart.
