Samuel Jesse Barnado

Mr. Samuel Jesse Barnado, age 74, husband of Shirley Epps Barnado of 365 Gilmore Rd., Union, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Barnado was born November 15, 1946, a son of the late Girard Barnado, Sr. and Juanita Ingram Barnado. He was a graduate of Columbia University High School and retired from the maintenance department at Dollar General. Mr. Barnado was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Marines.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mary Pearson and husband Joey and Christine Richardson and husband Harley all of Inman; a son Eric Barnado of Columbia; a sisters, Nancy B. Fulmer of Glenn Springs; a brother, Mark Barnado of Union; five grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Mr. Barnado was predeceased by a brother, Girard Barnado, Jr.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.

The family will be at the home, 365 Gilmore Rd., Union.
