Samuel Joseph Millwood

Mr. Samuel Joseph "Jody" Millwood, age 66, husband of Patti Warren Millwood, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Union Medical Center. Mr. Millwood was born in Union, SC April 12, 1951, a son of the late Ray Rufus Millwood, Sr and Bessie D. Austin Millwood. He retired from Conso Products and has recently worked with Capstone. Mr. Millwood was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and uncle. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Traci Lachelle Millwood and fiancé Steven Dabbs of Union; two sons: Samuel Drake Millwood and girlfriend Melanie Greene and Jeffery Warren Millwood all of Union; a sister, Patsy Boulware and husband Donnie of Buffalo; eight grandchildren: Dylan Millwood, Candice Wright, Lacey Millwood, Madison Phipps, Amanda Millwood, Leah Whitmore, Emily Millwood and Marissa Millwood; two great grandchildren: Matthew Joseph Millwood and Delaney Price. Mr. Millwood was predeceased by an infant son, Christopher Shane Millwood and two brothers, Ray Rufus Millwood, Jr. and Barth Allen Austin. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, December 15, 2017 at Union Memorial Gardens. Mr. Millwood will be taken to the home, 609 Green Street, Union, where the family will receive friends after 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2017.
