Sandra B. Palmer

October 25, 2017 Ms. Sandra Barnes Palmer, age 79 of 294 Robin Hood Circle, Union, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Center. Ms. Palmer was born December 12, 1937, a daughter of the late William Robert Barnes and Nadine Moore Goings. She was a 1955 graduate of Union High School and retired from Milliken Cedar Hill Plant. Ms. Palmer was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and also attended Unity United Methodist Church where she played the organ for a number of years. Surviving are two sons: Barry Palmer of the home and Glenn Palmer and wife Pam of Pauline; a granddaughter, Blair Palmer and fiancé Justin Caddell of Roebuck and a brother, Gene Moore and wife Jo of Union. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Dr. Ronnie Moore. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the service.
