Sandra Harvey Smith

Mrs. Sandra Harvey Smith, age 82, wife of Ben Smith of 504 Bishop Rd., Union, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Smith was born in Union, November 29, 1941, a daughter of the late Dupree Harvey and Christine Harvey Lawson. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from Milliken and Co., Gillespie Plant. Mrs. Smith was a member of Lower Fairforest Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her husband of 53 years, Ben, are a daughter, Darla Robinson and husband Dean of Union; a son John Vaughan and wife Tammy of Jonesville; a brother, Ken Harvey and wife Jean of Gaffney; a sister-in-law, Ann Whitehead and a brother-in-law, Leonard Smith. She is also survived by grandchildren, Amber Burgess and husband Trey, Tiffany Vaughan and fiancé Joe Adams and Ashley Ferrell and husband Cole, and two great-grandchildren, Karsyn and Kole Burgess.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Lower Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jim Cunningham. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the services.
