Sara Ann Inabinett Settle

February 19, 2019 Mrs. Sara Ann Inabinett Settle, age 81, formerly of Bermuda Dr., Union, widower of Harold Dean Settle passed away Monday, February 18, 2019. Mrs. Settle was born in Union, December 19, 1937, a daughter of the late Archie Thomas Inabinett and Frances Allen Inabinett. She was a 1955 graduate of Union High School and a graduate of Cecil's Business School. Throughout her lifetime, she worked for the Union County Schools (Buffalo), Union County Clerk of Court's Office and retired from the Union County Health Department. Mrs. Settle was a lifelong active member of Buffalo United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eva Sanders Circle and James Whitehead Sunday School class. Mrs. Settle was a beach-loving, doting "Mother" and confidante to so many young people, family and friends throughout the years. She was a very special lady to those who knew her well. She is survived by several cousins: Jimmy Sykes, Gerald Inabinet, James Inabinet, Mary Brooks, Jimmy Cheek, Becky Billings and Pam Farmer. Mrs. Settle was predeceased by her daughter, Paula Ann Settle who passed away in 2005. She was also predeceased by a special friend Wilton McGowan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Miriam Mick. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Chuck Malone, Ben Wages, Eric Billings, Kevin McGowan, Ed Wages and Benjamin Wages. Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the services at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Buffalo United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 176, Buffalo, SC 29321. The family is at their respective homes.
