Scott Charles Darling, Jr.

March 16, 2017 Mr. Scott Charles "Scotty" "Scotty-D" Darling, Jr., age 28, of 238 Haywood St., Buffalo, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Mr. Darling was born in Middletown, CT, December 8, 1988, a son of Theresa Guerton Darling of the home and the late Scott C. Darling, Sr. He was formerly employed with Dollar General Distribution and was currently working construction in Anderson. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Krystal Krpata Darling of Union; three sons, Kaegan, Brayden and Aydan Darling all of GA; a sister, Kaycee Darling and friend "Dee" Wylie; a brother, Cody Darling; his step-mother, Karen Darling; a step-sister, Patricia Sorrell all of Buffalo; a step-son, Kaleb Varner; a step-daughter, Kyleigh Varner both of Union; his maternal grandmother, Rosella Guerton of Buffalo; his maternal grandfather, Dale Guerton of FL; his paternal grandmother, Linda Darling Parker of GA; his aunt and uncle, Sharon and Bill Silas of CT; two nephews, Hunter and Noah Brock of Buffalo and his best friends, T.J. Roberts, Rashad Cosom, and Chad Miller. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Fred Darling. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1:30 until 3:00 Saturday prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scotty Darling Fund, P.O. Box 293, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home, 238 Haywood St., Buffalo.
