Shannon Nicole Sanders

Miss Shannon Nicole Sanders, age 41 of 311 Mill St., Union, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Union Medical Center.

Miss Sanders was born in Union, April 16, 1984, a daughter of Timmy Dean Sanders and Rita Vaughan Sanders of the home. In her youth, she attended Brown's Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two daughters, Bailey Walden and Mallorie Walden; a son, Caden Walden; a sister, Cassie Sanders and a brother, Brad Clark. She is also survived by a granddaughter, Lyla Walden, six nieces and four nephews. She was predeceased by her fiancé, Rusty Smith, her maternal grandparents, C.C. and Bertie Vaughan and her paternal grandparents, Preston Eugene and Norma Dean Sanders.

A memorial service will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Bill Randall and Rev. Brad Goodale. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
