Sheila M. Varner

Mrs. Sheila Moore Varner, age 67, wife of David R. Varner, Sr., of 337 Riley Rd., Buffalo, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mrs. Varner was born in Union, December 20, 1953, a daughter of the late Bobby and Peggy Kingsmore Moore.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter Amanda Moss and husband R.L. of Sedalia; a son, David R. Varner, Jr. of Jonesville; one brother, Freddie Moore of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Lee Moss and wife Gina of Easley, and Caroline Moss and friend Brett Ayers of Santuc; and two great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Luke Moss of Easley. Mrs. Varner was predeceased by a granddaughter, Christina Varner.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Johnny Burgess. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Tyler Davis, Carter Davis, Scott Davis, Logan Mills Michael Williams and Ray Varner. The following are asked to serve as the honorary escort, Ben Wages, Jimmy Johnson, Rex Turner and Clyde Seymore.

The family will be at the home, 337 Riley Rd., Buffalo.
