Sherry Darlene Harris Hodge

June 17, 2016 As dawn broke Friday morning, June 17, 2016, the Lord said "My Daughter, you have fought the good fight, you have suffered enough, come be with me." Sherry Darlene Harris Hodge widow of James "Jimmy" Hodge, Jr., went to be with the Lord at her home. Mrs. Hodge was born in Union, SC on July 18, 1960 a daughter of the late Robert Marshall Harris and Ruby Vinson Harris. She was a graduate of Union High School and had previously worked at United Wood. Mrs. Hodge was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. Surviving are two sisters, Brenda Harris of Union and Judy Phillips and husband Don of Dallas, TX; one brother, Danny Harris of Union; three step children, Rebecca Schambach and husband Dave, Ben Hodge and wife Ann, Emma Addison and husband Greg; special niece, Kim Blackwell; special friend Ronnie Green; ten nieces and nephews; fifteen great nieces and nephews; four great-great nieces and nephews; and four step grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, Paul Kenneth Harris, John Robert Harris, and Joseph Thomas Harris and one niece, Melissa Hope Harris. Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 20, 2016 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Glenn Ribelin. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 2:00 PM Monday prior to the services at the Church. The family request Mrs. Hodge's first cousins and Don Sawyer to sit in a group and form the honorary escort.
