Shirley Ann Dorsey

Mrs. Shirley Ann Williams Dorsey, age 77 of 121 Barnado Rd., Union, widow of Lamar Dorsey, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Mrs. Dorsey was born in Union, December 1, 1947, a daughter of the late Frank "Bill" Williams and Sula Mae White Williams. She was formerly employed at Monarch Elementary School and had previously worked in textiles. Mrs. Dorsey was of the Baptist faith. She had good heart and loved everyone unconditionally.

Surviving are a son, Landon Williams of Union; a brother, Roger Williams of New York; three grandchildren, Adam Kirby, Brandon Williams and Cheyenne Kirby and a great-granddaughter, Armoni Tucker. She was predeceased by two daughters, Wakina Kirby and Julie Ann Dorsey; a sister, Judy Elaine Carlan and two brothers, Milton "Bo" Williams and Frank Williams, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:00PM at the chapel prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Williams, Adam Kirby, Donald Smallwood, Tim Dorsey, Ricky Williams and Jeff Littlejohn.

The family will be at their respective homes.
