Shirley Boulware Goins

June 4, 2015 Mrs. Shirley Boulware Goins, age 75 of 2204 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy, Buffalo, widow of Edward Dean Goins, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Mrs. Goins was born February 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Buron Boulware and Vera Trammell Boulware. She was a graduate of Union High School and retired from United Merchants - Buffalo Plant. Mrs. Goins was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Eddie Goins and wife Lisa of the home; a sister, Genelle Brock of Union; a brother, James Tesner and wife Louise of Union; grandchildren: David Goins and fiancée Jalea Thomas and Brandi Goins and fiancée Josh Redding all of Union; an aunt, Mildred Tipton of Union and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Goins was predeceased by two sisters, Bernice Medford and Callie Foster. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 6, 2015 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Aubrey Parks and Rev. Jeff Farmer. Burial will be in Union Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Gerald Goins, Alan Silvers, Jimmy Tesner, Josh Redding, Matthew Murphy and David Goins. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Friday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Medi Home Hospice, 101 S Boyce Street, Union, SC 29379.
