Sonja Brown Liner

July 28, 2019 Ms. Sonja Brown Liner, age 73, of 911 Linersville Rd., Buffalo, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Ms. Liner was born April 8, 1946 in Union, a daughter of Evelyn Allen Brown and the late Sidney Brown. She was a 1964 graduate of Union High School and attended Cecil's Business College. Ms. Liner retired from Windsor House in Spartanburg. She was a member of Buffalo United Methodist Church where she was a member of the James Whitehead Bible Study, the Eva Sanders Circle and served as a MIF Leader. Surviving in addition to her mother are a son, Billy Liner of the home; a brother, Jerry Brown of Union; a special cousin, Joe Liner of Buffalo and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Buffalo United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Miriam Mick and Rev. Kevin Dalton. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the church. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the employees and staff of Union County EMS for the kind care and compassion shown to Mrs. Liner over the years of her illness.
