Stanley D. Ketterman

Mr. Stanley D. Ketterman, age 67, husband of Ann Lawson Ketterman of 306 Meadow Woods Rd., Union, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Mr. Ketterman was born in Union, SC on May 11, 1948 a son of the late Walter Ketterman and Beatrice Martin Ketterman. He was a graduate of Union High School and was a retired truck driver. Mr. Ketterman was a member of Duncan Acres United Methodist Church and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Vietnam Era. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Melissa K. Justice and husband David of Buffalo; a son, Chris Ketterman and wife Brandi of Union; a brother Jerry Ketterman of Union; and three grandchildren, Noah, London, and Eli Ketterman. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Duncan Acres United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Merritt "Tuie" Wentz. Burial will follow at Putman Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be David Garner, Kevin Garner, Jacob Ketterman, Joey Faulkner, Eric Lawson, Mark Lawson, and Michael Lawson. Visitation will be held 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Duncan Acres United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 216, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of his daughter, Melissa K. Justice, 249 Sweetwater Dr., Buffalo, SC 29321.
