Stephen James Gurski

Mr. Stephen James Gurski, age 76, husband of Rebecca Tuel Gurski of 562 Mt. Tabor Church Rd., Union, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023.

Mr.  Gurski was born December 18, 1946 in Akron Ohio, a son of the late Theadore and Nora James Gurski. He was a graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and was a United States Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He also was a member of the VFW chapter 1062. Mr. Gurski worked as an electrician at IBEW in Akron, Ohio local 306 and was the owner of B and S Electrical. He was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Stephen James Gurski, II of Ohio; two sisters, Linda Crispo (Pat) of Massachusetts and Lorraine Ruppel (Bruce) of Ohio; and a brother, Theadore Gurski (Kay) of Munroe Falls.  Mr. Gurski was predeceased by a daughter, Stephanie Dillard.

A Memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Richard Lewis.
