Stephen F. "Steve" Blackwell

Mr. Stephen F. "Steve" Blackwell, age 74, husband of Deena Stroud Blackwell of 131 Highland Dr., Union, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Mr. Blackwell was born in Union, August 8, 1947, the only son of the late Elmer Clinton Blackwell and Sue Senn Blackwell. He was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and received a bachelor's degree from Limestone College. Mr. Blackwell was the retired owner of Wholesale Electrical Supply and Blackwell's Amusement Corporation. He was a founding member of the Union County Humane Society where he also served as President and was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 47 years are many cousins and numerous special friends.

Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Union conducted by the Rev. Robbie Stolger and Rev. Brian Redding.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 405 E. Main St., Union, SC 29379.
