Steve Mcbride

September 8, 2015 Mr. Steve McBride, age 55, of 180 Love Lane Pacolet, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice House. Mr. McBride was born in Union, SC on January 5, 1960 a son of Mazel Vanderford McBride Owens and the late Richard Donald McBride, Sr. He worked in construction and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving in addition to his mother are a stepfather, John "Perk" Owens of the home; two sons, Stephen Heath McBride of Simpsonville and Zachery McBride and wife Jennie of Fountain Inn, SC; one grandson Benson McBride of Fountain Inn; three step granddaughters, Raven King and husband Leman, Samantha Burrell and Phoenix King all of Woodruff; one step grandson, Matthew O'Hara of Woodruff; one step great-grandson, Leman King, II; and one brother, Richard D. McBride, Jr. of Pacolet. Funeral services will be held 3:00PM Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Tommy Mann. Burial will follow at Union Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Buddy Vanderford, Keith Vanderford, Stanley Vanderford, Kevin Vanderford, Vince Vanderford, and Toney Farr. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the services. The family will be at the home, 180 Love Lane, Pacolet.
