Steve Edward Messer

Mr. Steve Edward Messer age 61, of 1732 West Springs Hwy., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at the Union Medical Center. Mr. Messer was previously married to Kathy Baker. Mr. Messer was born June 12, 1954, a son of the late William Crawford Messer and Nathlee Waldrop Messer. He retired from Milliken & Company following thirty-eight years of service. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Jason Messer; a grandson, Steven Messer both of Riverside, CA; two sisters: Kathy Bledsoe and husband Clifford of Gaffney and Wanda Jones and husband Danny of Hendersonville, NC; two brothers: John Messer and wife Regina of Jonesville and William Messer and wife Thersa of Hildebran, NC. Memorial services will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, March 17, 2016 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Brad Goodale. Visitation will be held in the chapel following the service. Memorials may be made to Union County Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 156, Union, SC 29379. The family will be at their respective homes.
