Steven Brent Pelham

November 22, 2017 Mr. Steven Brent Pelham, age 67, husband of Debra Bailey Pelham, of 315 Harris St., Jonesville, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at his home. Mr. Pelham was born December 19, 1949 in Union a son of the late James H. Pelham, Jr. and Eddie Mae Horne Kirby. He had worked at K&K Mechanical in La Grange, GA and had previously worked with Carlisle Finishing for 24 years. Mr. Pelham was a member of Mon-Aetna Baptist Church and attended Jonesville High School. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Samantha Parker of Alabama; two grandsons, Dustin C. Parker of the home and Kyle Tassin of Alabama; two sisters, Mary Hill of Jonesville and Paula Wood of Union; one brother, Dexter Pelham of Jonesville; and a number of nieces and nephews including a special niece, Kristi Talanges of Roebuck. He was predeceased a son, Steven Travis Pelham and a sister, Sandra Kirby. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Mon Aetna Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Chris Gulledge. Visitation will be held 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday prior to the services at the Church. Memorials may be made to Mon Aetna Baptist Church, 1431 Lockhart Highway, Union, SC 29379. The family is at the home of his sister-in-law Elaine and Bobby Gault, 105 Gregory St., Union, SC 29379.
