Steven D. Youngblood

Mr. Steven D. Youngblood, age 72, husband of Kathy Ford Youngblood of Buffalo, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial.

Steve was born on December 1, 1952, a son of the late James Ralph Youngblood and Donna Mease Youngblood. He was a 1970 graduate of Jonesville High School. Shortly after graduating Steve began his career with United Merchant and Manufacturing-Buffalo Plant.  Following the closure of Buffalo Mill, he worked for Grace Management. He was later employed by Gestamp, the company from which he retired. Steve was a multi-talented man, loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and friend to many.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 50 years are two daughters, Melissa R. Youngblood and boyfriend, Bruce Coyle, and Crystal Y. Smith and husband Dave; a granddaughter, Samantha Hindman and boyfriend Samuel Gossett; a grandson, Dylan Smith; and a brother, Jim Youngblood and wife Debbie. He was predeceased by a brother, David Youngblood.

According to his wishes, no services or visitation will be held.
