Sue Ramsey Davis

April 19, 2018 Mrs. Sue Ramsey Davis, age 63, wife of George W. "Butch" Davis, Jr., of 202 Cambridge Drive, Union, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Davis was born in Union, SC June 27, 1954, a daughter of the late Thurman E. Ramsey and Ruth Johnson Ramsey. She was graduate of Union High School and retired from Timken. Mrs. Davis was a member of Putman Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Amy D. Pittman and husband Matt of Union; a son, Timothy K. Davis and wife Kim of Union; two sisters: Joan Christopher and husband Gary of Pulaski, TN and Melissa Ramsey of Union; two brothers: Steve Ramsey and wife Barbara of Buffalo and Mark Ramsey of Union and eight grandchildren: Kayla Sue Barber and husband Dillon, Morgan Pittman, Riley Pittman, Corey Gill, Carmen Davis, Cayla Gregory, Hannah Gregory and Peyton Gregory. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at SR Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Jeff Dean and Rev. Rick Henderson. Active pallbearers will be Riley Pittman, Peyton Gregory, Corey Gill, Dillon Barber, Sam Christopher, Shane Parks and Chris Fallaw. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday in the chapel prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crescent Hospice, 839D Main Street, Buffalo, SC 29321. The family is at the home, 202 Cambridge Drive, Union.
