Susan Cherie Woodsby

Miss Susan Cherie Woodsby, age 37 of 213 Hancock St., Union, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

Miss Woodsby was born in Union, January 12, 1986, a daughter of Angela Mitchell Kelley and Clary Dana Woodsby both of Union. She attended Union High School and was formerly employed with Sonoco Products and had also worked as a caregiver. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother and father are four daughters, Tristen Davis, Madison Mohr, Jade Mohr and Victoria Jones; a son, Jeremiah Jones; two sisters, Candice Woodsby and Ashley Sanders; and a brother, Joshua Willard. She is also survived by a special parent, Kristi Vinson; her maternal grandmother, Margaret Leonhardt, her stepfather, Thomas Austin, several aunts, uncles and cousins including a special aunt, Wendy Woodsby and special uncle, Casey Woodsby both of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Jerry Woodsby and Tanis Prince; her paternal great-grandmother, Mary Woodsby and her maternal grandfathers, Michael Mitchell, Gene Dover and James Leonhardt.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Morningside Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Aubrey Calvert. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday at the church prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Jonathan West, "Baby Jo" Lawter, Brent Austin, Jerry Harmon, Jimmy Medford and Heath Millwood.

The family will be at the home of her mother, Angela M. Kelley, 306 Hicks St., Union.
