Susie G. Gregory

Mrs. Susie Ann Gaston Gregory, age 90, widow of Neely Francis Gregory, of Mt. Tabor Church Rd., passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Gregory was born in Chester Co., September 15, 1924, a daughter of the late George Alexander Gaston and Violet Ann Love Gaston. She attended Sharon High School and was retired from textiles. Mrs. Gregory was a member of Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church. Surviving are a son, Steve L. Gregory and wife Jewel of Union; a sister, Virgie Tracey of Chester; two grandchildren, Nick Gregory and wife Nicole and Andrea Roberts all of Union; six great-grandchildren, Baylee Butler, Grant Butler, Drake Roberts, Makayla Gregory, Gavin Gregory, and Hailey Gregory. Mrs. Gregory was predeceased by four sisters, Elise Gaston, Sadie Melton, Bertha Young and Mildred McWaters; and four brothers, Tom Gaston, Ray Gaston, Robert Gaston and John Gaston. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Dr. Steve Lemons and Rev. Brad Goodale. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday prior to the services from 1:45 until 2:45 PM at the church. Active pallbearers will be Joe West, Robert Young, Lonnie Melton Jimmy Vaughn, Glenn Ivey and Eddie Wilson. The following are asked to serve as the honorary escort, Randolph Whitehead, Johnny Belue, Betty and Jack Rash, Katherine Willard, Annie Bell Clayton, Debbie Littlejohn, Deloris Clayton, Ron Kirby and Elders of Mt.
