Suzanne W. Harris

April 23, 2017 Mrs. Susie Elizabeth Walker Harris, age 86 widow of Curtis Raymond Harris of 2066 Brown's Creek Church Rd., Union, SC. passed away April 21, 2017. Mrs. Harris was born in Lockhart, SC., November 3, 1930 a daughter of the late Curtis Eugene Walker and Susie Davis Walker. She was a homemaker and a member of Lockhart Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, JoAnn H. Smith of Union; three sons, Terry Curtis Harris, Tony Raymond Harris and wife Cindy both of Union and Jamison Moss of Union; two sisters, Pearl Gault and Patsy Cromer, a brother, Curtis "Red" Walker, Jr. all of Union; Grandchildren: Brian Harris of Simpsonville, Susan Gilstrap and husband Jared and Tony Kyle Harris all of Union; a number of great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Harris was predeceased by a daughter, Glennis Moss, a granddaughter Tara Suzanne Smith, sons-in-law, Rickey Smith and Larry Moss, Brothers, Joe Walker, Bert Walker and a sister, Jessie Canupp. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM., Monday, April 24, 2017 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by Mr. Chad Ponder. Burial will be at Union Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will be Jackie Gaston, Mark Garrett, Ted Adams, Charles Adams, Buddy Harris, and James Brown. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 prior to the service in the Chapel. The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Cindy Harris, 1702 Brown's Creek Church Rd., Union, SC.
