Teresa Ivey Lawson

March 15, 2018 Mrs. Teresa Ivey Lawson, age 90, formerly of Lockhart Highway, widow of Bud Lawson passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Heartland of Union. Mrs. Lawson was born April 21, 1927 in Union a daughter of the late Monroe Ivey and Eugenia Jett Ivey. She was retired from Bethel United Methodist Church Daycare. Mrs. Lawson was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Choir and the U.M.W. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are two daughters, Ellon Fant and husband Terry and Ann Garren and husband Rick all of Union; one son, Gerald Lawson and wife Glenda of Union; five grandchildren, Scott Lawson and wife Kim of Union, Heather Vinson and husband Mark of Union, Ray Garren and wife Sara of Greenville, Angela Fant of Union, Jennifer Burgess and husband Chris of Union; and five great-grandchildren, Logan Vinson, Jakob Lawson, Jordan Lawson, Blake Vinson, and Chloe Burgess. Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Will Brown and Rev. Randy Smith. Visitation will be held immediately following the graveside services at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1705 Lockhart Highway, Union, SC 29379.
